PHT1*
The Invisi-Guard™ PHT1 Photo Optic Sensing for Barrier Gate Arms
*Invisi-Guard PHT models have been recently discontinued but, are still supported.
PHT models are now replaced by IG2.
Use two PHT1 on barrier gate arms so that both sides are guarded: install the 1st inside the area and the 2nd outside the area. As vehicles approach from either direction, the beam of light is interrupted signaling the gate arm to reverse.
PHT1 includes two independently housed units: a battery powered infrared emitter and a receiver that wires directly to your controls. The battery powered emitter saves time and money by eliminating the need to saw concrete or run wire across the opening. The built-in audible low battery alarm alerts users when it is time to replace batteries.
To provide your customer with an ideal solution, add an ME110 or ME111 gate edge sensor to the arm itself.
Safety Standards and Codes for Motorized Gates:
Invisi-Guard PHT1 has been independently tested to comply with the UL325
standard for gate safety.
Since 2009, the International Building Code (IBC-2009) and the International Fire
Code (IFC-2009) have required compliance with the current UL325 safety
standard in jurisdictions where these codes are both adopted and enforced.
